My client's
magento site is abnormally slow,( i know
magento is slow but this is an exceptional case) and he needs it sped up, so at the end of this project my client site must be exceptionally fast.
We installed ssl and the site began to time out not on all ip addresses though but on enough ip addresses.So i disabled SSL on the back end and it stopped timing out.
However my client wants SSL back up without the timing out.
The "refine by" for sorting suddenly stopped working and can only be seen now during search.
The space where customers are to put in thier
email addresses for newsletter misbehaves as well most times it closes up so customers can not put in thier
emails.
The bulk of this problem is at check out as customers complain that they are unable to check out or register due to time out or error.
The problems difer from IP to IP,honestly i think its some bug but i am not sure.
I must however mention that all the above are only hints and clues to help you troubleshoot and find problem....
