Project Title: Golf Tournament Management System
(Web/App and Mobile/App)
Scope: Be able to enter/register all players on Desktop/laptop PC that stores data locally and also accesses and updates a web database. When tournament starts, score keepers out on the course use the mobile app on their mobile device to enter scores in real time after every hole for each player. The app would also be able to tally all player scores and list them in the order of finish etc.... I am trying to cut out the time consuming
data entry when you use standard hand written score cards at the end of each round of play. if these scores can be entered into the database with the mobile app it will save tons of time and labor. It would also allow patrons/spectators the ability to view scores in real time using their own mobile phones or smart phones by accessing a url.
IF POSSIBLE: for the times when web access is not available for the mobile devices it needs to store the data and then be able to sync or export their data to the desktop/laptop that does have web access and can then update the web database.
I am open to any suggestions that you may have that will make this concept work.
