I'm looking for someone with good
programming skills and who is also an expert in
vBulletin hacking (installing hacks from
vBulletin.org + able to write custom hacks, knowing which versions of hacks to use). Someone who is familiair with the
PhotoPost and vbPortal script and is able to make modifications in these scripts. You must be very familiair with the
vBulletin script, styles, etc. I have 6
vBulletin/
PhotoPost/vbPortal sites with installations of the latest script versions but I need modifications, which will be similair on all sites. At this point I'm not sure which
programming language will be required exactly (in addition to the
vbulletin hacks) but my guess is that it will be
PHP mainly. Most of the modifications can be done by using existing
vbulletin hacks, but others must be custom coded (payment implentation,
photo upload option in profiles, 'easy profile urls', etc.).The sites are adult gay sites, although there isn't any content yet of course. You must be able and willing to communicate on ICQ or MSN during the project. I'm looking for someone who is also able and willing to advice, tell me about the pros and cons of certain modifications (technically most of all) and someone who can also come up with ideas instead of just 'following orders'. I am Dutch so my english isn't perfect (perhaps you already noticed that hehe).Since I cannot give a clear project description at this point (it needs discussion) the payment(s) will probable be based on commissions.Before we start I will need some reference or portfolio just to make sure that you are capable of doing the job (unfortunately some
programmer managed to totally mess up my sites a couple of years ago and I cannot let that happen again).Once the sites are up and running (the old versions of the sites are now up and running, but the new installs are on another server/IP) I will probable need more modifications and improvements (based on member feedback) so a more long-term working relationship is possible. Ideally you have
system administrator skills too.
